The Serengeti is a region of grasslands and savannas in East Africa, spanning northern Tanzania. The Serengeti National Park is home to an incredible diversity of wild animals and is famous for its annual “Great Migration”, which has been called one of the world's greatest wildlife events. Witnessing the Great Migration is certain to be an experience of a lifetime!
Also in Tanzania the Ngorongoro Crater which is teeming with wildlife- here you are almost guaranteed to see the all of the “Big 5 “ in one day. One thing to keep in mind is that these National Parks get very crowded during the Peak Season.
Venture further to the quieter parks in the Southern Circuit-they are less visited and more remote but equally appealing for a safari. The parks include Ruaha National Park, Saadani National Park, Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi National Park and Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
